Where did you grow up?

I grew up in hick-town ohio – wooden bed pickup trucks with rifle racks and the whole lot – always outdoors getting into shit…can’t even imagine growing up preteen in a city

How does the ocean influence you work?

Ive always had to have some direct interaction with nature to keep my head straight and the ocean is my favorite natural playground of all – it influences my work in ways that are far beyond my comprehension

What is the goal of your work?

I tend to view art as holistic and inseparable from life – between description and interpretation lies lots of space for creation and it is within this space that I strive for my work to exist – I suppose the goal is to remind and relate without explanation
